I started this nonprofit to give new life to the books and sports equipment around my home, turning my gear into sustainable growth in my own community. As a national badminton player and state-level power lifter, I understand firsthand the significance of resources and support when pursuing sports. I'm grateful for the opportunities I've been given to explore my passions — both academically and competitively — and I want to provide those chances to as many others as possible.
I firmly believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to improve their education and physical activity. As someone who participates in varsity track and powerlifting, I strongly advocate for people of all ages to incorporate regular exercise into their lives. Collections4Champs is an effective platform to address real inequities — both in sports access and in literacy.
Access to books can shape how people see the world and what they believe is possible. As someone who loves reading, I have experienced how stories can spark curiosity, introduce new ideas, and inspire lifelong learning. My ambitions — including pursuing a career in finance — have been fueled by the knowledge and perspectives I've gained through books.
I believe in giving every child the tools and opportunities they need to succeed and achieve their goals. Growing up surrounded by my mom who is a doctor and lots of books about medicine, it fostered the love and passion I have to pursue a career in the medical field. I want to help make this possible for others, no matter their background.
Being in sport-related activities, I see people in need all the time and believe that all kids should have the opportunity to play recreational sports or at least have the necessary equipment to do so. I see this organization reaching the people who need it most, and I'm proud to help make that happen.
I would like to be a part of something that provides real opportunities for others. Throughout all my work in various nonprofits — from children's hospitals to programs teaching life skills — I've learned how giving back to people who really need it helps not only them but everyone around them.
